The Harriet Tabak Woman of Valor Fund

The Federation is happy to announce a new grant opportunity for Jewish women from Middlesex and Monmouth Counties to participate in leadership development. Harriet Tabak was a lifelong advocate for empowering Jewish women to make our world a better place. And today, we introduce the Harriet Tabak Woman of Valor Fund.

"It’s hard to believe, but it’s been more than three years since Harriet’s passing. She lives on, however, in our hearts and we know how proud she would be of her children, grandchildren and her new great grandson Heath, who is named after her. We also know how proud she would be to know that this fund will enable Jewish women to serve this community that she cherished so much." - The Tabak Family
Criteria:
- Live in Middlesex or Monmouth Counties
- Passion for Women's leadership development and Jewish causes
- Commit to sharing what they learned with the Jewish community

Candidates will be required to write an essay of up to 500 words on why they would be the ideal candidate for this grant. The application can be found here.
