Chabad Jewish Student Organization is dedicated to serving the needs of the Jewish students at Rutgers University. Every kind of student can find his or her place at the Chabad Jewish Student Organization. There are no reconstructionst, reform, conservative, or orthodox "labels" at Chabad... it's just Jewish!!!

A typical week for the Jewish Student Center consists of Food-n-Filosophy Nights, Cafe Nights, learning programs, newsletter meetings, and much, much more! The week concludes, as usual with Chabads famous In-Shabboses, Rutgers' best tradition since 1978.
Home baked challah, delicious dinner, desserts, singing, and great company describe the weekly Shabbos dinner parties.

In addition, Chabad also sponsors holiday events, The L'Chaim, Rutgers' First Jewish Student Newspaper, and comminity service projects. Students visit hospitals and old age nursing homes on a weekly basis. As you can tell, any night during the week many interesting programs occur in this dynamic organization.
