Join us as we commemorate Yom Hashoah, Holocaust Memorial Day, with a conversation including children of Holocaust survivors. Our discussion will include thoughts on what it was like growing up as the child of a survivor and how that affected one's world view and Jewish identity. We will also hear various perspectives on what concerns and hopes these children, many of whom are now parents and even grandparents, have when it comes to issues such as combating anti-Semitism and Holocaust education and awareness in the 21st century.
We are still looking for individuals to participate in our panel discussion. If you are the child of a survivor and are interested, please contact Rabbi Schonbrun at 732-531-4410, or email him at rabbi@torat-el.org.
Kindly RSVP to Pam at pamc@torat-el.org
