Professor Snyder will discuss Felix Frankfurter, the third Jewish Supreme Court Justice and a Zionist. Learn how Justice Frankfurter hired the first African American Law Clerk, outlawed racially segregated schools, fought for a Jewish state at the 1919 Paris Peace Conference and so much more.
Brad Snyder is a Professor of Civil Procedure, Constitutional Law, Constitutional History and Sports Law at the University of Wisconsin. Prior to teaching law, Professor Snyder worked as an associate at Williams & Connolly LLP. A graduate of Duke University and Yale Law School, he clerked for the Hon. Dorothy W. Nelson on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
