On Sunday, September 22nd, Neve Shalom, a Conservative Jewish Congregation in Metuchen, is proud to partner with 11 other faith-based organizations for a program entitled: Community Café: A Cross-Cultural Conversation, Getting to Know our Neighbors. The program will run from 2:00 to 4:00 pm at Neve Shalom which is located at 250 Grove Ave., Metuchen, NJ. It will consist of two parts: a panel discussion in which members of different faith and ethnic communities will speak about their individual experiences of immigrating to the United States. After the panel discussion, everyone attending the program will be invited to participate in round table discussions about their own immigration experiences or those of their families. This program has been designed to foster inter-group relationships in our larger community. Reservations will be appreciated through the NeveShalom.net/event/Café.html. Light refreshments will be served.
