The Jewish Heritage Museum of Monmouth County presents a Zoom program, Hollywood Yiddishkeit: Jewish Images in American Film with John Kenrick, historian, on Sunday, December 5, 2021, at 2 PM. Admission is $12 members and $15 non-members. To make a reservation and receive the Zoom link, you can call the Museum at 732-252-6990, email jhmomc@optonline.net, or visit our website at www.jhmomc.org.

The program promises to be a fascinating look at how an industry dominated by Jewish executives and creative talents have depicted Jews, from the silent era to the present.

John Kenrick has worked in the theatre at every level from amateur to Broadway, eventually serving as a personal assistant to Tony Award winning producers, including the team behind the original production of RENT. He is the creator of the educational website Musicals101.com, and his books include Musical Theatre: A History, which recently received a new 10th anniversary edition.

Funding has been made possible in part by an operating support grant from the New Jersey
Historical Commission, a Division of the Department of State, through grant funds administered by the Monmouth County Historical Commission.

The Jewish Heritage Museum is located in the Mounts Corner Shopping Center, at 310 Mounts Corner Drive, Freehold, NJ, at the corner of Route 537 and Wemrock Road (between the CentraState Medical Center and Freehold Raceway Mall). It is on the second floor of the historic Levi Solomon Barn. The JHMOMC is a tax-exempt organization under Section 501 (c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Now open to visitors by appointment, the Museum is
