Wednesday, January 15: Alternative Endings – Trends in Death Rituals-If you could plan your
end of life, what would you do? If you could redo someone else’s end-of-life ritual, who and what

changing?
Wednesday, January 22: Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. – Legacy and Life-As we

punishment? Should capital punishment be retained or abolished?

Wednesday, February 5: Congressional Filibuster-What is the “filibuster” and why does it
exist? Does it serve a useful purpose? Who does it help and when and why? Does the “nuclear
