The Social Action Committee of Temple Rodeph Torah is asking for your participation in Ner Shel Tzedaksh ("Candle of Righteousness") Toy Drive. Families are asked to devote the 6th night of Hanukkah to learning about the problem of poverty. Have a family discussion about the poverty that exists in our country today. Think about what you and your family can do to make a difference. We will be collecting new unwrapped toys for children of all ages from November 12-December 17 (during business hours (10 AM-3 PM).

In addition to the young children, we ask that you remember the teenagers. Boys 11-17 would especially enjoy sports equipment and girls that age appreciate cosmetics/toiletries. A collection box will be in the atrium.

The gifts will be distributed this holiday season to those less fortunate.
