Operation Wedding - Congregation Etz Chaim is pleased to present a showing of Operation Wedding, a Documentary by Anat Zalmanson-Kuznetsov. Followed by a Q&A with Israel Zalmanson

Leningrad, 1970. A group of young Soviet Jews, who were denied exit visas (refuseniks), plots to “hijack” an empty plane and escape the USSR. Following the showing, there will be a Q&A session with Israel Zalmanson, one of the hijackers who was imprisoned in a gulag for 8 years for his role in the 'hijacking'.
