Rabbi Tiferet Berenbaum of Temple Har Zion of Mt. Laurel will speak at a program on April 7th at 9:30 am at Temple Shalom. A light breakfast will be served.
Rabbi Berenbaum, an African-American rabbi will share her thoughts, “Who Better than a Black Female Rabbi to Talk Race, Bigotry, and Healing Today?”
Rabbi Tiferet received rabbinic ordination and a Masters in Jewish Education from Hebrew College in Boston, a non-denominational, accredited school of Jewish Studies. Her experience includes working with two other congregations and as a teacher in a Hebrew Day School. Rabbi Tiferet’s presents a profound love of Judaism and Jewish culture; knowledge of Ladino and Sephardic culture; a strong connection to the Jewish Renewal movement, and a deep appreciation for traditional Jewish liturgy
