America's Political Divide: Is It Too Wide to Cross?
When you open the newspaper or turn on the news we see society's toughest challenges used as chess pieces by politicians for the purpose of political gain and very rarely handled in any sort of substantive way. Here at Anshe Emeth we will engage with these topics not from a political point of view, but from a theological and Judaic perspective. Join us for our Rabbinic Forum, a place where we can respectfully debate society's greatest challenges, not for the purpose of creating more Democrats or Republicans, Conservatives or Liberals, but a forum for understanding where each of us are coming from and to ground our choices in our tradition.
Join the Anshe Emeth clergy for a discussion on our current political divide. How have we as Jews dealt with these sorts of divides in the past? Is this a new phenomenon or have we actually dealt with it before?
