Norman Mailer won Pulitzer Prizes in fiction and non-fiction. He was a best-selling author and celebrity whose film-making career, political activism and multiple marriages made him a media star.
His cousin Gail Becker, who grew up in Little Silver, and studied literature at Vassar, now comments on the man and the myth. She will illuminate the Mailer few knew, including his visits to the Jersey Shore where he wrote his early work.
