Presenter: Larry Wolfert

We will take a behind-the-scenes look at the
various stages of development for what is
undoubtedly one of the most famous musical duos.
Along the way, we will play some of Simon &
Garfunkel’s more familiar songs. Where
appropriate, the song’s inspirations as well as
interpretations are offered. The relationship
between Simon & Garfunkel had its highs and lows
– but the quality of their music never wavered. Bring
your singing voices and join in on this remarkable
journey.
Larry Wolfert developed and has led a series of
courses as part of the Osher Lifelong Learning
Institute at Rutgers University (OLLI-RU) for the
past several years; two on The Folk Music Revival.
He is the recipient of the Marlene M. Pomper
OLLI-RU Teaching Award for teaching excellence.
