Again, sadly, our friends and family in Israel have been the targets of another terror attack - this time at the Sarona Market in the heart of Tel Aviv. Participants on our last Federation journey to Israel were just there, adding a local dimension to an event that may seem far away - except that terrorism is no longer a rare event happening in far-removed places. New York, London, Madrid, Brussels, Boston, Paris, Tel Aviv...extremists aim to strike at the heart of societies that value individual freedoms and democratic values.

Our reaction to these attacks should be the same wherever they happen - incitement of violence and glorification of the perpetrators must end, and we express our support and solidarity with those families and individuals directly affected.
