Local Grants

Nonprofits and synagogues seeking funding of $3,000 or more for programs that impact the Jewish community in Greater Middlesex and Monmouth Counties. 

The Jewish Federation in the Heart of New Jersey’s partnership and grant-making process is designed to invest in programs or projects that meet important needs, leverage resources and generate collaborative partnerships, broaden access and incorporate best practices employed by organizations of excellence.


If your organization is a Jewish 501c3 or synagogue and would like to apply for funding for a local program that cares for the vulnerable, inspires young people to embrace Jewish life, and attracts people to a vibrant community in Monmouth and Greater Middlesex Counties:


  • Up to $3,000: Opportunity grants are available on a rolling basis. Click here
  • Above $3,000: Local grants are available for 2017. Fill out one application per program and e-mail it to lauras@jewishheartnj.org If this is an existing program, a program evaluation must accompany your application.
