The Maimonides Society was named for scholar and physician Rabbi Moses ben Maimon (Maimonides or Rambam), well known for his contributions to medicine and Jewish thought. This professional networking group welcomes physicians, surgeons, dentists, and other healthcare professionals - people dedicated to healing the sick and the notion of tikkun olam (repairing the world). Maimonides Honor Society


No minimum contribution to the Jewish Federation is required to attend the Maimonides Society events, though Federation offers the opportunity to join the Maimonides Honor Society.


The Honor Society includes members of the Maimonides Society who contribute a minimum of $1,800 per year to the Jewish Federation's annual community campaign. Honor Society members enjoy access to special VIP events, opportunities and serve as leaders within the society, as well as an individual profile page listing on the Jewish Federation's web site, including photo and practice information.​
