As of 2 AM local Israel time, on May 21st, 2021 a cease fire went into effect following more than 11 days of conflict between Hamas and Israel. 

In addition to rocket attacks, which began in Jerusalem, spreading throughout Israel, the conflict set off a global surge in antisemitic rhetoric and violence.
