Funding was for the purchase of on-site security equipment such as cameras and surveillance systems, lighting, and keypads.
In the fall of 2016, the Jewish Federation in the Heart of New Jersey announced matching grants up to $2,500 each for synagogues, Jewish schools, and other Jewish non-profit organizations in need of security hardware to upgrade facility safety and security.
