Please join us for CBI's 3rd annual #familytogether High Holiday Service - it has become
a wonderful and meaningful way to start the New Year. It’s so nice to see kids of
all ages, along with their parents, singing, praying and learning together.
The service is intended for families of all children Pre-Kindergarten to Grade 6 - children should be accompanied by parent, grandparent or guardian.

How do you prepare a one hour service that will hold the interest of such a wide range of ages (not to mention parents)?

We will alternate between songs for younger children and the prayer melodies that are
familiar to the older students. Also this year, we will have a breakout session for the Torah story, with
different stories for the younger and older children. And, we’re introducing some really fun new melodies
and visual aids.

#familytogether Service begins at 10:30 AM on the first day of Rosh Hashanah and the morning of Yom
Kippur. Before that, if you’d like to participate in the CBI tradition of welcoming the children into the
Torah processional in the Sanctuary, that will begin around 10:00 AM.

Please register for the Family Together Service by August 31 so we can be prepared for seating, and to keep
everyone safe. Registration forms can be found at www.cbirumson.org. Tickets to attend High Holiday services are required on first day Rosh Hashanah as well as on Yom Kippur - contact the CBI office at 732-842-1800 for ticket information.
