What We Do...and Why

The Jewish Federation in the Heart of New Jersey brings together the Jewish community across Monmouth and Greater Middlesex counties to address the issues facing Jews individually and as a People locally, in Israel, and around the globe.
We and our partners aid those living with hunger, mental illness, addiction, and financial or personal crises. We combat anti-Semitism and enhance security to make our gathering places safer. We invest in a bright Jewish future so the Jewish community of tomorrow can address the issues of its day. That is why leadership development, programs inspiring young people to embrace their Jewish identity, and building bridges with Israel are among our priorities.
And making the community vibrant and inclusive means every Jew can find his or her place among the extended Jewish family.
ANNUAL REPORTS

  • Strengthening preparedness for and responding to communal crises affecting Jewish life
