Wednesday, September 5, 2018: “ The Supreme Court.” President Trump, so far, has had the opportunity to appoint two Supreme Court justices who could shift the balance of the Court for decades to come. Should Supreme Court justices continue to be appointed for life terms? If not, what would be a more appropriate term? Should presidents have the sole power to appoint judges? Should Supreme Court judges (and judges at lower levels of the Judiciary) be elected rather than appointed to office?
