On November 11, at 11:15 AM, Professor Jack Needle will provide an introduction to Philip Roth: His Life and Work.

This lecture is part of CBI Adult Education Committee's celebration of selected Jewish fiction writers who have won the Pulitzer prize. We will feature lectures and discussions throughout the year on the life and times of the following authors: Bernard Malamud, Saul Bellow, Norman Mailer and Philip Roth. In tribute to Philip Roth, who died recently, CBI congregants are participating in a “Congregational Read” of the book Nemesis. Rabbi Goldberg will speak about this book at Friday evening services on November 30.

All are welcome and bagels will be served. Please RSVP for the November 11 Philip Roth lecture by emailing emilie.kovit-meyer@cbirumson.org, or by calling the CBI office at 732-842-1800.
