"Ladino Music from Yesterday to Today: A Virtual Presentation by Sarah Aroeste"

Sarah Aroeste is a talented singer, songwriter, educator and storyteller, and she will take you on a virtual journey to learn about Ladino culture and history.

Inspired by her family's Sephardic roots in Macedonia and Greece, Sarah has spent the last two decades bringing her contemporary style of original and traditional Ladino music to audiences around the world.

Sarah's musical style combines traditional Mediterranean Sephardic sounds with contemporary influences of rock, pop and jazz. She has released seven recordings, the most recent being an all-Ladino Hanukkah CD, "Hanuka 2021."

This is a free Zoom event, but you must register at ebjc.org/ladino
