Composer, guitarist, and recently-ordained cantor from the Debbie Friedman School of Sacred Music at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion, Becky Mann has been called "one of the brightest voices of a new generation of Jewish songwriters carrying our tradition forward in new and exciting ways." Inspired by the richness of Jewish texts and liturgy, her contemporary songs give new life to ancient words. Becky has composed music for synagogue choirs, cantors, acapella ensembles, and more. She serves as the Assistant Cantor for Temple Israel of Westport, CT.
