1500 Years of Jewish Life in Italy:

Jews were present in ancient Rome even before the destruction of the Second Temple in 70 C.E.
A wealth of archeological evidence attests to their presence in Italy during the following centuries, right up through the Renaissance. Join us as we look at the Colosseum, visit the synagogue at Ostia Antica, enter the Jewish catacombs, and inspect important Hebrew manuscripts of the Mishna, the Talmud, and other major Jewish works- including several written by the female scribe Paola bat Avraham!
