Jewish Federations Make First Round of Israel Emergency Allocations

Ready to Act for Our Brothers & Sisters

The sickening terrorist attack and barbaric crimes against the people of Israel that began Oct. 7, 2023, have set off one of the worst chapters in the history of Israel and the Jewish people. Jewish Federation in the Heart of NJ is coordinating our community's crisis response to urgent priority needs requiring immediate collective action.

We grieve the tragic loss of Israeli life and the lives irrevocably changed. The trauma, destruction, indifference, and hate. We stand in complete solidarity with our Israeli brethren and with the brave military forces responding to defend our beloved Jewish state.

We pray for their safety and those who have lost loved ones while we support victims of terror, help rebuild damaged infrastructure and ravaged lives, and address the immense levels of trauma caused by this horrific chapter in Jewish life.

100% of Israel Emergency Fund dollars are designated to go to Israel crisis relief and are tax-deductible.

On October 13, 2023, Jewish Federations of North America announced our first round of Emergency Allocations

Our first $10 million will be allocated in coordination with partners, The Jewish Agency for Israel (JAFI), Joint Distribution Committee (JDC), World ORT, and the Israel Tauma Coallition, to provide aid in the following categories.
