The Friendship Circle
Based in Manalapan, The Friendship Circle launched in Central Jersey in 2001 with a simple mission: To provide individuals with special needs with social and educational experiences they would otherwise not have. MORE
Based at the shore, Hand in Hand pairs teen volunteers with special needs children, forging loving friendships that enrich the lives of both. Through a broad spectrum of creative programs, social and Jewish activities, the children experience the special warmth of their heritage and the joy of positive social interactions with their teenage friends. Yachad, based in East Brunswick, enhances opportunities for individuals with special needs to participate in the full spectrum of Jewish life by bringing them together with their mainstream peers for socialization and opportunities to learn from one another. Yachad also offers a Parents Support Group. MORE
Scholarships for Special Needs Summer Camp
The Federation's Stolzer Family Endowment Fund enables children with special needs, through age 21, to have a summer camp experience tailored to their needs.The scholarship application deadline for summer of 2016 is April 1, 2016. For details contact Laura Safran by phone 732.588.1800 or email.
Birthright Israel With No Limits
