Passover Seder with Ukraine War Refugees

This past April the Jewish community of Vienna, with the support of Jewish Federation, was able to provide 2,000 Passover meals, including two Seders, to 250 Jewish refuges who had fled war-torn Ukraine. With local rabbis leading the Seders, the room was full of the children’s excitement and questions, as they celebrated together. This special care, especially over a holiday, allowed the mostly women and children to have some distraction and relief from the constant threat over their home and family members still under fire.
