Incentive Grants for Jewish Camp

Jewish camps today offer world-class athletics, arts, and specialties, such as computers, adventure, and more. To boot, they wrap it all up in a warm, values-based environment where young people hone life skills and connect with their Jewish identity. STAY TUNED FOR SUMMER 2025 APPLICATIONS.

Why We Love Jewish Summer Camp

Helping children develop greater self-confidence, indpendence, empathy, and problem-solving skills, Jewish camp is a great investment in their future. Because young people who go to Jewish camp tend to stay involved in Jewish community as adults, it is also a sound investment in a strong future for the Jewish community  and the reason Jewish Federation is proud to fund One Happy Camper grants incentivizing first-time campers to try Jewish camp.

More Camp and Summer Options

  • Need-Based Scholarships

Camp is not a luxury, but a lifeline for struggling families who can't afford safe and nurturing childcare when school is out for summer. Need-based camp scholarships help fill the gap.

  • Special Needs Scholarships

Scholarships can help children with special needs reap the benefits of Jewish camp, building skills and confidence, making friends, and engaging in Jewish life among a lively and warm community.

  • Teen Travel Grants

Trips to Israel connect teens to their Jewish identity and community. Grants up to $1000 make it possible for more young people to experience and form their own close relationship with Israel.

We’ve had a great time hosting virtual conversations with Jewish camps

Jewish Federation in the Heart of New Jersey and our partner, Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest, had a great time hosting half-hour virtual conversations with ten top Jewish camps. We spoke with camp directors, as well as parents, campers, and counselors to give you the inside scoop about camp and plans for summer 2023. Be informed and plan early to secure a spot!
